@robert w bro, it’s hard to be empathetic the way you word it … you do realize the governor of Indiana cut the unenployment and called all the fast food and salon jobs fucking careers … now as much a can understand your situation your still living comfortably with your family in a home, an should probably just be grateful. I don’t even make 20k a year making anything less than 15 an hour most the openings here are minimum wage, the same age that hasn’t changed in 13 years now, is still 7.25 regardless the cost of living has almost doubled. You could Def have it worse bub, imagine if you didn’t land that job making 40k a year for instance …. because i don’t have those opportunities 🤷🏼♂️ but i prolly work harder than you and make less $ for doing it sooooo “things are tough all over”
@Tyler Howard Do what I did man, put in tens of thousands of hours working for free and getting your education and skill up, you’ll get paid more. After you do that you’ll be working 70 to 100 hours a week and they’ll take 50 cents of every dollar you make. Maybe you work harder than I do, I don’t know, but if you do I feel for you man, I put so many hours in I have no personal life at all. If you’re going to put the time and work in to better yourself for a high paying job, I suggest shooting high, because if you land in the 70k to 140k bracket middle class you will not be living much better than you are now… Think about someone making $70,000 a year and only being able to keep 35,000, not much better than 20,000 -30,000 right, and that’s after a hundred grand or more in student loans and years of not getting paid to do hard work… Yes, indeed things are tough all over. You say you have no opportunities, you are wrong, it’s up to you to make the opportunity it won’t come looking for you.

It’s okay for government to not give us our money but when taxes and bills come they need theirs right away sharp!!

I had small hope that maybe I was wrong sbout Biden and Democrats. The devil is in the details. This is the first stimulus checks to allow garnishments. So if you got overextended on a loan from the govt or decided to claim more to keep more of your check from the IRS this year, that will be garnished. They are paying themselves back with their own money. They are sick

This is what happens when you give government the power to shut everything down in attempt to stop Corona which is impossible. You sacrifice the livelihoods of most Americans for a extremely small minority of people who get a stomach ache.

They need to do something right now. I got behind on rent in September and my landlord evicted me in December when they were not suppose to be putting people out. I lived there 3 years and is a full time nursing student. So time are really hard.
